I spread some more grass seed around to fill the thin and/or bare patches of the winter lawn I planted a few weeks ago. Unlike the initial round of seeding, though, I didn't cover this seed with topsoil to protect it,so the neighborhood birds are happily feasting on it.
Except when Abby's loose in the backyard, in which case they sit on the wall around the yard, watching her and waiting until she leaves, so they can return to their feeding frenzy without risking her chasing them around the yard.
